Alsace private tours, at your own pace
4.9out of 5100 Google reviewsChristmas markets, wine villages and castles, starting at your hotel door. One van, one driver, one price for up to 7 travelers.

FJ13 is a private transport company based in Entzheim, next to Strasbourg. Our drivers take international visitors through Alsace every week of the year, and know which village is crowded in the late morning and quiet by mid-afternoon.
More than 15,000 passengers have traveled with FJ13 since 2019.
About
Why a private driver, rather than a rental car or a group tour?
The wine villages of Alsace sit 30 to 60 minutes by road from Strasbourg, and most have no train station. A rental car means parking hunts in December and no wine tastings for the driver. A shared group tour means a full coach and a fixed timetable. With FJ13, one van is yours for the day: you pick the villages, stay longer where you like, and your driver shares local tips along the way.

Questions before you book
Short answers to what travelers ask FJ13 most often. Anything else, write to us.
Contact usIs a private driver day in Alsace priced per person or per car?
Per van. FJ13 drives you in a private van for 1 to 7 passengers, and the price covers a half day or a full day, adjusted to your itinerary. Two travelers and seven travelers pay the same. Check the exact amount for your date in the quote configurator.
Does the FJ13 driver also explain the history of each village?
FJ13 drivers are professional chauffeurs, and commentary is not part of the service. Your driver shares local tips along the way, then leaves you self-guided time in each village. For a commented visit, a certified guide-conferencier can join you (optional, extra cost), subject to availability.
We are a family of eight. Can we all travel together?
One FJ13 van takes 7 passengers at most. A group of 8 or more travels in two vans that drive together, with the same itinerary. Prices are not shown online for groups: ask for a quote on the tailor-made page.
Can FJ13 pick us up somewhere other than a Strasbourg hotel?
Yes. Pick-up is included at any hotel in Strasbourg, and FJ13 also collects travelers in Colmar, at Strasbourg train station, at Strasbourg Airport or at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg on request. A day starting from a Colmar hotel costs the same price as from Strasbourg.
Can we change the plan once the day has started?
Yes, within the booked duration. Stay longer in one village, skip another, add a stop you spotted on the road: your driver adapts. If the day runs past the booked duration, the extra time is added to your price, and FJ13 tells you before it happens.
How early should we book a driver for a December weekend?
As early as you can, and ideally at least 2 weeks ahead. Most international travelers book FJ13 2 to 6 months ahead, and December Saturdays fill first.
